This is for our beginners who feel more comfortable starting in a private setting, rather than a group one. It consists or two, 90 minute, one-on-one sessions, in which you are led through a full movement screening and analysis. Next, you are taught all of the movements that you will see in a class so that you better understand them. Finally, at the end of each session you will be put through a small workout to help you understand the class dynamic. This class helps you feel more comfortable with the surroundings of ultiMET and ready to hop into a class with confidence!
In each session, a coach will teach and demonstrate the foundational movements we use in CrossFit, as well as review your range of motion and various scales to get you moving safely. Following the instruction portion of the class, you will participate in a CrossFit-style workout. We guarantee you will get sweaty and you will have fun.
Once you are competent in the movements we use daily in CrossFit you may graduate to our regular CrossFit classes and get the full CrossFit experience!
